Web Manuals is based in Malmö's most modern area! Just within the last year, the Web Manuals team grew by 30%. Web Manuals has clients in over 70 countries across the whole world. Web Manuals enables air operators to achieve better control and compliance for their mission-critical manuals while making the operation more agile and safe.
Our cloud-based document management system is a tool for digitizing manuals for small to mid-sized air operators. We help our clients become more successful, safe, and happy by simplifying the editing and distribution of operational manuals.

The Role
As General Counsel, you are responsible for the Legal function ensuring that the Web Manuals can continue its fast and global growth while maintaining a low exposure to legal risks. You will be working with our great team members, providing commercial legal support and expertise. You will be responsible for all commercial agreements as well as employment contracts for employees in Sweden, Singapore and the US.
The role also includes responsibility for corporate compliance, corporate risk management, insurances, and IPR.
As our high-velocity growth continues and we look to make acquisitions, M&A will become a key part of the role as well.
Responsibilities
- to ensure that the company meets its legal requirements
- to manage contracts, contract templates, and negotiation instructions
- to support the Commercial team in customer and partner negotiations
- to manage business risk, company insurances, and Intellectual Property Rights
- to support investment, merger, and acquisition activities
Competency requirements
- Swedish Master’s in Laws and at least 5 years practice with an established law firm or relevant in-house counsel experience
- Proficient legal experience in a wide range of contracts, human resources, and M&A
- In depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices
- Acting with integrity and credibility
- Excellent communication in English, both verbally and written
- Be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization from diverse backgrounds
- Experience from SaaS applications or software industry is preferred
To succeed in the role as a Legal Counsel, you need to be business-minded and analytical with great communication skills.
