Remote Control AB designs, manufactures and markets high-quality actuators for standard and special valves.We are part of Rotork Fluid Systems (RFS), which has manufacturing in including Lucca (Italy), Rochester (USA) and Melle (Germany).We are the market leader in Scandinavia, while more than 80% of our production is exported.At our plant in Falun, we are about 75 employees and has during the last business year sharply increased our turnover to 125 million.We look forward to a continued positive development of our business.Read more at www.remotecontrol.se.Key areas of responsibility People Management To manage, motivate and develop all staff including the management team, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills to achieve immediate and longer term business objectives as set by the RFS Executive Board.Financial/general management As GM of Remote Control, to ensure that proper records and books of accounts are kept, that divisional financial reports are prepared and annual budgets set accurately and on a timely basis, and that the business operates within these objectives.To ensure that the latest edition of the Rotork Group Internal Control and Administrative Guidelines are followed.Sales To oversee the development and maintenance of relationships with customers, as well as co-ordinate project information, including controlling price levels per customer and per project.Assembly, Test & Production Engineering To oversee the achievement of planned actuator and spares invoice targets, efficiently, safely and on time.Quality To ensure the cost effective delivery of high quality products and services to meet the expectations of our customers.Materials Management To ensure that components and sub-assemblies of prescribed quality are provided to Production, when needed, at the lowest possible cost whilst minimising inventory.Contract & Logistics To ensure that customers' orders are correctly interpreted and entered, and that products and parts are economically shipped to end destinations.Current Product Engineering To ensure that the Company's products are updated, improved and supported and that products are engineered to meet special customer requirements.Facilities, Health & Safety and the Environment To oversee the provision of safe, healthy and well-maintained office and factory working environments.We are looking for the following background and personality Experience from a corresponding responsibility (General manager or equivalent).Experience of work in technology companies.If you been into sales/marketing t Fluent in both Swedish and English language.Team builder with demonstrable team-leadership skills.Organized and systematic approach.Focus on quality and relations.Enthusiasm and optimism.For more information, contact Ulf Alexandersson, Sprint that we work with in this recruitment process.
