Gimatic Nordic has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced General Manager to play an integral role in achieving the business goals and objectives for profitable growth. We work in the automation market with a focus on automotive, industrial automation, plastics, pharmaceutics, food & beverage end markets. You will have full responsibility and accountability for leading the Gimatic Nordic subsidiary business, and managing efforts to achieve the business plan. You will have the opportunity to effectively champion change initiatives to drive and support the continuous improvement efforts of the business and organization, as well as promote and support our enterprise-wide strategic enablers of Innovation and Talent Management. We are proud of our high standards of customer support and performance, and it is your task to maintain the highest standards throughout the process. Your team includes of two salespeople, and you report to the parent company in Italy. The location of the position is flexible, but there will be an opportunity to have an office at Strömsholmen in Tranås.
In order to succeed in the role, you have a proven track record of achieving the business plan by delivering on commitments thorough commercial, operational and financial excellence. You are a visionary who easily creates strategic direction. Prior customer facing experience are required, specifically in a direct sales capacity. You are an energetic people-person who has the ability to build strong relationships, both internal and external.
The right candidate should have a proactive leadership style and approach and build collaborative teams, in alignment with our corporate values. Since we operate in a technical industry, it is essential that you are skilled in technology such as automation, robotics, mechanical or similar technical disciplines. We are part of an international group, and therefore, you have no difficulties to communicate in neither English nor Swedish.
