General Partner to a new Nordic Venture Fund, Göteborg

Our client is setting up a new Nordic venture fund designed as a differentiated and industry-anchored B2B fund, raising Investor Commitments of SEK 1,000M to invest primarily in Nordic later early-stage and expansion phase high-tech investments in the ICT, Mobility and Life Science sectors.

This new Nordic venture fund have three founders with strong background from the investment sector in addition to cross sector experience from life science, mobility and logistics industries. In order to further strengthen the team and the management we are looking for a fourth partner who will bring senior experience within ICT, Venture Capital deal making experience and a well-established network within Venture Capital community.

Competence Profile & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have extensive and operational experience from:

· Identification of companies and driving the full process through activities such as early engagement with founders, deal structuring and terms, tactics and negotiation, to signing, closing and exit.

· Capitalization, recapitalization and restructuring small businesses, including experience from capitalizing and restructuring strategies as well as identifying syndication partners.

· Operations and company management. In order to fulfill more than the role of a facilitator in transaction processes, operative experience is required to really understand the business you deal with. We will therefore value hands on experience within ICT.

We are looking for candidates with high comfort and skill level in the areas of financing, governing laws relevant for venture capital, as well as project management experience. You also have strong social capabilities and are an experienced leader. We will pay attention to matching your personal profile to team culture and spirit. You are fluent in English, both in speaking and writing. Gothenburg is the preferred location but it is not a requirement.
