The Unit

Scalability Center (SC) is a unit focusing all aspects of performance and scalability for QlikView ? the Business discovery solution. SC responsibilities cover developing and enabling R&D, customers and partners with tools and methodologies for validating performance and scalability. Other responsibilities are liaising with 3rd party technology partners making sure that QlikView take advantage of the latest advances in hardware etc. as well as troubleshooting, evaluating and prototyping concepts for performance improvements for QlikView. The role as Software developer within SC is instrumental for maintaining and advancing QlikViews performance and scalability to continue to stay ahead of competition.

Your responsibilities

Research and familiarize with new technical concepts and solutions.
Prototype and verify product enhancements. Design, implement and document ?your? enhancements to existing and new performance and scalability projects.
Troubleshooting and profiling potential performance issues to identify where room for improvement and making creative recommendations.
Share, present and involve others in your findings
Your profile

Experience working with complex algorithms for data manipulation and possesses a keen interest in this area
Experience of C ++ or C
Ideally experience of software memory handling
Experience with profiling tools is desirable
Excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English
Ideally you are a genius kind of developer, who have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to take decisions, initiatives and getting things done. You have strong analytical skills and you find unconventional solutions to problems, you have an open mind to innovation and new solutions.

You have great networking skills with the ability to describe complex problems to others, you listen and involve others in discussions and you have the ability to tailor technical information to different audiences.

The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
