The Svartliden Gold Project is operated by Dragon Mining Sweden AB, a company 80 % owned and managed by Dragon Mining NL, an Australian public company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.It comprises an open cut gold mine and CIP leach treatment plant that began production in March 2005 and will produce at about 2 tonnes of gold doré annually.Mine plans based on reserves indicate a further 5 years production but this is expected to increase substantially as additional resources are converted to reserves.

Job description
Dragon Mining Sweden AB is looking for geologists for the summer season, June-August 2010.These summer geologists would work for the exploration department investigating anomalies for precious metals in Västerbotten between Lycksele and Storuman.Responsibilities would include corelogging, documentation and sampling of boulders, mapping and geochemical sampling.Applicants are required to have at least 2 years of education in the geological sciences (or other relevant experience), hold a valid driver's license, be eligible to work in Sweden and have a reasonable understanding of English in speech and writing.A fair amount of trekking may be involved and an average state of physical fitness is also a requirement.Knowledge of MapInfo, Microsoft Office Suite, and a basic understanding of structural geology would be an advantage but is not required.

Qualifications
