About the summer work:
Over the summer period, June to August, we require cover when employees go on holiday. We are therefore looking for summer workers who can support our teams during the summer period. Our mining operations are conducted in the mining area in Kaunisvaara, but our drill core archive and core logging facility are located in central Pajala, which is where this position is stationed.
Duties:
You will work in the Exploration Department together with our geologists and technical staff. The main tasks include drilling-core logging, preparation of samples for analysis and various field work. Depending on interest and experience, other tasks may also be relevant, such as geological interpretations and database work.
Education and Qualifications:
You should have at least two years of completed geology education at a university. Good computer skills are a prerequisite as well as that you can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and/or English. B driving license is a requirement.

Contractual Terms:
Full-time, fixed term position. Stand in for permanent employee’s holiday period.
Salary:
According to the collective agreements with Unionen, Ledarna and Swedish Engineers.
