German speaking cruise guide Stockholm

Baltic Gateway is a private joint-stock (limited) company established in 1992. The company is proud to be holder of the highest, gold UC Seal for the Highest Creditworthiness given by UC.
The company acts as a shorex agent for many international cruise lines coming to both Stockholm and other Scandinavian ports, and has a leading position on the Swedish market.
We are seeking for service minded, outgoing candidates, willing to meet tourists from all over the world.
It is a requirement that you should be able to speak German (mother tongue or very fluent level)
It is considered an advantage if you have worked in the tourism industry before, but it is not mandatory.
As the amount of cruise ship tourists increases every year in Stockholm, there is a growing demand for more guides, able to present the city highlights.
We are currently looking for candidates ,who are interested in working as cruise guides after a special training. The training is scheduled from the end of February until end of April 2020 and it is organized and funded by Baltic Gateway AB.
The frequency of the classes in the course will be around twice a week ( late afternoon or evening) and some weekends.
To be able to join the course , you are requested to be living in Stockholm or its vicinity.
Once qualified and declared eligible after the course final test, you will be offered seasonal employment during the season from May until end of September 2020, 2021 and 2022
