About the position
We at Perido are helping our client Ikano Bank to find their new Team Leader within The Payment Team. The team performs the booking of incoming and outgoing payments and is now in need of a German-speaking colleague. Ikano Bank offers simple and attractive savings and loan products for consumers, sales support services for retailers, and leasing and factoring solutions for corporate customers. Ikano Bank has a presence in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the UK, Poland, Germany, and Austria. This position is stationed at their office in Malmö, with the possibility to work partly remote.

Your daily tasks
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Payment Team, ensuring that everything runs smoothly by supporting the co-workers with daily questions and priorities, and leading the team.
The main responsibilities in this role are:
Lead and support Payment team
Ensure that the team’s work instructions are updated
Ensure that Standard operational procedures are updated
Ensure that the daily checklists are updated
Follow up on the daily checklists
Hold monthly 1-2-1 with Payment team members
Member of the Payment management team
Support the Team in initiating and implementing process and business improvements
Support the Team in having payment tasks deliveries within the Payment Teams SLA

Your characteristics
We are looking for someone with leadership experience and proven competence in guiding teams toward success. Your skills in analysis and documentation will come to use in this role, as well as your organization skills that will help you to prioritize and work effectively. We also believe that you are customer-focused and have great communication skills, which will help you to establish and nurture good relations and collaborations. To conclude: you are a team player who enjoys collaborating and creating a positive work environment where everyone feels involved and motivated.

Qualifications:
High School, KY, or bachelor’s degree in business administration
Good knowledge in Swedish and Fluent in English and German, verbal and written
Leadership experience/competence
Good communication skills
Experience in the payment processes or another operational department within the bank
Technical/IT skills

Contract type and hours
Full-time, assignment initially 6 months through Perido, thereafter possible takeover by the client. Start as soon as possible.
