Welcome to an opportunity to work at our school: International English School in Jönköping, Sweden is now looking for a teacher of German, to work 50, 75 or 100%.
You will be part of a team of teachers and staff with a multicultural and international background where the working language is English. We are looking for a person who is flexible, enthusiastic and a good team player.
The position involves planning and teaching German in grades 7-9 (12-16 year olds). The teachers in the Modern Foreign Language department work as a group towards common goals. This means weekly team meetings, joint planning, shared resources and developing the subject through collegial professional development. It is important that students receive the same teaching, grading and standrds.

This is a regular teaching position with regular school holidays. We have collective employment agreements with the Swedish unions LF, LR and Almega.
Our salaries are competitive. The staff receives a 'free' pedagogical lunch every day. We take care of our staff and offer a number of voluntary social gatherings to build and maintain a strong team. There are well-structured career opportunities and well-organized professional development.
About who we are looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher in German, those with qualifications are prioritised but we welcome all applications. Being a team player is just as important as being positive and constructive.
Start date by appointment August or later 2021. Newly graduated teachers are welcome to apply for the position.
Language
Excellent working knowledge of German; Good knowledge of English, no knowledge of Swedish required.
