Global Analytics Developer

Then this could be your next challenge! We are currently looking for a Global Analytics Developer to join our inspiring and innovative Global Data Analytics team.

Your mission 
As a part of the Global Data Analytics Team, you will play a vital role by utilizing your coding skills to build the solutions that meet the needs within the entire range of business domains of Epiroc, such as Marketing, Production, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, etc.
Together with the members in your team, you will build data analytics solutions on our Data Analytics Platform. You will be involved from the start, together with business stakeholders, all the way to delivery.

Supported by the cutting-edge data processing services and technologies on our Data Analytics Platform, you will use your coding skills, experience, and creativity to build innovative data analytics solutions.There are always things to improve, therefore your input and ideas will be vital to  build the future technology stack of the platform.

Your profile
To succeed in this role, we believe you have solid experience in data modeling, data analysis, T-SQL scripting (SSAS), DAX and visualization (Power BI) and that you are passionate about finding the right combination of data and technical tools that will meet the needs. 
In addition, we believe you have great interpersonal and communication skills that reflect your desire for collaboration.
Collaboration through any channels, platforms or across borders, building your network, comes natural to you.
You have a passion for analyzing, creating a common understanding of the business need and leading a team for meeting these with the delivery of technical solutions. You find satisfaction by delivering with quality and are proactive with taking ownership of projects and drive innovative solutions to enhance our data analytics capabilities.
You have proven experience and expertise in Data Warehouse, ETL, Cube and Report design and development.
You understand the importance of having a good working knowledge of SSAS and proper workflow design and exception management.
You are confident in your ability to design, plan and build scalable BI solutions, experience with requirements gathering, strong SQL Developer skills. You have relevant expertise working with relational and multidimensional database schemas and writing queries.  
You are actively engaged throughout the delivery lifecycle, including performing analyses, design, development, validation and implementation of reports.  Additionally, you have a broad understanding of business processes and learn easily.

As we are working with colleagues and partners from all over the world, good verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

Location and travel
This position may be located in one of our Epiroc IT Hubs, depending on the candidate’s current location: Örebro (Sweden) or Prague (Czech Republic). Local terms and conditions will apply, depending on the successful candidate’s current location.
