About the jobThe marine market is a highly international business and you will work both internally and externally all over the world.Your role will be to:

Secure application leadership for mineral oil separation applications and build this competence through support and training internally as well as externally
Monitor trends, developments in marine industry covering (not limited to) fuel types/consumption, legislations, technology conversions and competitor intelligence
Drive application development, prototype/concepts development and influence future product vision
Represent Alfa Laval as our expert in global contexts, such as seminars, exhibitions and councils

You will work in close cooperation with the Regional Business Managers for Mineral Oil Separation as well as with the R&D team in Tumba.
What you knowWe are looking for a highly motivated person with a passion for developing and improving technical processes and solutions for our customers. You have a solid engineering and/or processing background. Experience from the marine industry is preferred.As a person, you are a self-starter with high motor and great sense of responsibility. You take pride in your deliverables and continuously drive for improvement. Teamwork is an important skill that you need to excel in.You have the ability to build strong networks, working cross border with people on all levels and cultures. You are target oriented and have a creative and open minded approach to problem solving. You work systematically and get things done.
The position is based in Tumba and moderate travelling (30-50 days/year) is required.
