Working at Volvo Energy, you are here to make a fundamental break through and propel electrification, from development of charging and infrastructure solutions to monitor and optimize, refurbish/remanufacture, reuse/repurpose and recycle state-of-the-art batteries that power our Volvo Group products. Joining us means working in a global context with people from diverse backgrounds and different nationalities while contributing to the core business and results of Volvo Group. We are goal oriented and business focused people who believe that the best results are achieved while having fun and when we challenge each other. You will make a difference
We now need to strengthen the team with world class battery analyst expertise. As Volvo Energy evolves, you will have the opportunity to shape and define your role during that process. Your starting point, will be to optimize the batteries during the complete life cycle from a sustainability perspective. A crucial part of the optimization process will be to understand usage of the batteries in different applications.
You will also develop and analyze the battery usage profiles during the complete life and contribute to the development of algorithms and risk management. You will team up with our amazing colleagues within our engineering team to get insight on first life battery. Your main focus will be on second life battery, even though understanding the usage from first life is important. Based on your expertise, you will also be a part of creating the plans and establishing the relationship with our future partnerships.
The location for the position is flexible and will be in Gothenburg, Sweden, or in Bangalore, India.
How you will create success for yourself and Volvo Energy
Imagine yourself working with a new challenge. Do you have a pragmatic approach and want to solve it hands on? Do you like to dig into a large amount of data, analyze patterns, and make correlations between markets and customer behavior? Do you like to translate data into concrete solutions? Here you will have the opportunity to be a contributor to our future partnerships for the second life battery and through that be a part of the circular model of sustainability for our products.
Our way of work is new to us, that is why we are driven by curiosity and it is important for us to think outside of the box and try new things. You welcome this chance to work in a smart and modern way, where we together are the catalysts to make our desired future happen. Here you will also have the opportunity to work effectively in a multicultural company environment, dealing with both internal and external stakeholders at a global level.
