We are in the process of creating a new role for our company where you would have the opportunity to take on a strategic position in a global company, where you can make an impact on our overall business performance.

Having access to the right information when you need it is key for improved business performance. In order to achieve this, we need to establish a common global BI strategy and platform. BI is currently implemented locally in some countries using different platforms, but as BI is seen as a key area for success, we want a dedicated person to lead this area.

FläktGroup global IT is made up of four main areas: Central Infrastructure & Applications, ERP Centre of Excellence, Product Selection Software Development and Local IT Operations.

This position would located in Jönköping, Sweden, or in another European FläktGroup office. Depending on location, the position will report either to the Director Central IT Infrastructure or to the VP Global IT.

Your responsibilities

You will own the corporate BI strategy leading to a common FläktGroup data warehouse giving key business stakeholders easy access to up to date information. This means that you will be responsible for:

• Develop methodology and governance for BI
• Govern BI initiatives to ensure maximum benefit
• Identify areas for improvement and consolidation
• Drive BI standardisation and consolidation
• Investigate and pilot new technologies in BI/AI/Analytics to see if/how FläktGroup can benefit from them
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of BI projects
• Ensure that agreed projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• BI budget management
• Communication and alignment with stake holders
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation

Who are we looking for?

We believe you have an appropriate field of study and experience in project management and designing BI solutions. You have also been leading or coordinated the work of others and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Azure and Power BI.

Since the role will be navigating between many different management levels, countries and cultures an interest in people and good communication skills is a must. Since you will be managing the migration of legacy BI solutions and prioritising between the long list of BI requests, you will need a strategic approach and knowledge about budgeting and cost control.

You will also need:

• Drivers licence
• Business English fluent
• The ability to travel (mainly in Europe)
