Overview
The Global Brand Director is responsible for SCA’s Global Baby Care Category including Brand Positioning, Vision, Strategies, and Innovation Master Plan. You will lead innovation teams and oversee the Marketing & Communications group. You drive this in partnership with key stakeholders across the company to create outstanding innovation and brand building programs that will make SCA win in Baby Care.
In this role you will report directly to VP Category Baby & Feminine Care
The position will be located in Gothenburg (Sweden).
Main Tasks
Oversees the Innovation Teams, and Brand and Communications.
Responsible for global market segmentation, brand pyramid and architecture
Drives innovation, manages brand product/solution portfolio and claims ladder.
Develops brand communication (including digital) & recommends strategic media guidelines.
Recommends strategic pricing relative to market and competitors
Responsible for insight generation and research strategy
Monitors global Brand health and defines corrective actions
Responsible for brand visual identity and packaging
Owns mandatory parameters of the product specification
Leads the Global Brand Team, consisting of key regional marketing leaders across the globe.
Key Competencies
10-15 years of Brand Building experience in FMCG
Strong experience in Global brand management and innovation.
Experience in local market managing P&L and commercial leadership.
Leadership capabilities
Excellent brand building skills, including innovation, brand communication, and brand equity management.
Proven experience in managing teams and developing people.
Strong personal leadership (envisioning, energizing and executing). Proven to deliver results with high sense of urgency.
Strong strategic thinking. Ability to understand stakeholder requirements, operational limitations and business opportunities and come up with holistic logical recommendations.
Excellent in collaboration and influencing in a matrix organization. Strong networking and interpersonal skills; diplomacy and persuasion with a positive attitude.
Strong FMCG business and commercial understanding, combined with “commercial hunger” and sense of urgency.
