Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.

We are now looking for a Global Brand Director to be the leading force behind the Epidemic Sound brand. As our Global Brand Director you will spearhead the Brand & Creative team to ensure our brand equity and pave the way for both short and long-term success. The Global Brand Director will report directly to the CMO and serve as a crucial part of the Marketing leadership. Key responsibilities and competences are further described below.

How you will make an impact

- You will own our brand strategy, including brand strategy development and implementation on a global scale

- You will own the creative expression of the brand - both short and long term - together with other key stakeholders across the company

- You will be responsible for securing quality and consistency in all our creative expressions across various touchpoints and markets

- You lead the decision-making of the brand on a global scale and have the authority to guide and make executive decisions in our brand development.

- You will own the brand roadmap, including ensuring collaboration with the Marketing Strategy & Operations Team to align it with the overall marketing roadmap

- You will be responsible for the team objective(s) and setting up a suitable framework to track and measure brand equity metrics, and is also the owner of Brand & Creative OKRs and ensure initiatives, processes, and plans are achieved

- You will lead development of all frameworks and guidelines needed to equip and ensure the global coherence of our brand

- You will be responsible for maximizing production budgets to deliver on campaign and commercial targets to ensure ROI - Brief, optimize and guide the internal and external resources

- Actively search for relevant partners and ways to optimize production

- In charge of resource allocation for the inhouse agency




- You will lead the B&C team in their delivery on creative briefs to reach commercial targets, enabling marketing efficiency across all channels - Secure campaign development according to brand & marketing road map

- Work closely with internal stakeholders to secure early alignment and co-creation for all channel needs

- Secure creative development across all channels




- You will be responsible for creative height across all touch-points, ensured via either internal or external resources

- You will be responsible for resource planning, coaching and professional development of team members

- You will own our brand forum and act as a leader of a cross departmental group including representatives from the departments/crafts that act as main drivers in building a coherent, efficient and supercharged brand

- Point of contact and sign off for external agencies

- You always stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices



Who you are

- 10+ years of experience of building successful brands

- You’re a natural leader and can serve as the leading expert and guiding star of our global brand strategy and identity

- You’re used to cross-collaboration across other departments and with important stakeholders. You guide others in the importance of brand to ensure brand implementation throughout the company.

- You have extensive experience from working with international agencies, preferably both at an agency and the client side of things

- Experience of assessing the strength and weaknesses of brands and ensuring world-class creative work

- In-depth knowledge of what impacts organizational effectiveness and how to create high performing teams

- Data-driven with a commercial mindset, ensuring strong return on investments from activations

- Experience from working closely with PR and Communication teams
