Global Business Data Manager

Right now, we’re looking for a Global Business Data Manager to join us in Svedala – a role in a brand-new setup where you play an important part in supporting our Sales Development organization and growing our business within division Stationary Crushing and Screening.

Your mission
As Global Business Data Manager, you develop processes to capture and provide relevant information for business decisions to our organization. You establish a governance model which ensures a high level of data availability and accuracy for our business. With the local teams in our Sales Areas spread around the world, you will focus on sales and business relevant data collection processes. In your role you will drive a change by providing a structure which develops the fact-based sales management in our organization.

You review current tools and information flows with our regional data mangers and drive improvements by representing our function in various forums within Sandvik.

Ensuring governance, compliance and development – as well as business data quality globally within the division – is a natural part of your job, and you always strive to improve, maintain and update data and processes crucial for our initiatives, both regionally and globally. By having and maintaining a holistic view of the business data management processes (such as fleet data or customer data) and converting this into business opportunities for Stationary Crushing and Screening, you help to ensure our future success and growth!

In this position, you report to the Sales Enablement Manager, and occasional travel is a natural part of your job.

Your character
We believe that you have previous experience from working with collection, filtering and conversion of data into business opportunities. You have a relevant academic degree, or the equivalent experience, along with previous experience of stakeholder management and leading projects. Your technical aptitude when it comes to Office 365 and Salesforce, along with your basic financial understanding, allows you to translate the data into useful insights to act on. As we act in a global setting, you need excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Your personality is very important to us. With a holistic view on both the business and your own work, you easily plan, prioritize, and maintain a high focus on your own and your teams’ delivery. You’re an analytical and process-oriented person who’s capable of gathering and synthesizing information and proposing solutions. As a networking teamplayer you know that successful delivery and a job well done is a team effort, and you successfully interact with different stakeholders across the business. As you’re working on several initiatives simultaneously, you are also an excellent multitasker who knows how to prioritize your time.
