In the role as Global Business Development Manager your overall mission will be to develop and implement the Sub Segment strategy for Metal Fabrication toward a sustainable, profitable growth.
You will be the voice of the customer to ensure that their needs are meet and that the underlying drivers and trends of the market are transferred into action plans relevant to each value stream and customer solution needed. In close collaboration with Customers Centers, our channel partners and customers you will drive and coordinate marketing and customer related activities towards relevant Sub Segment in Metal Fabrication.
Other parts of your responsibility will be to:
Actively visit and provide fast, reliable and professional support to Customer Centers (CC’s)
Positively receive feedback from CC’s and adapt solutions and strategies based on this input
Identify and secure new grow opportunities for the Sub Segment in working close to customers, sales, R&D, Operations and our Service Division
Build a network of internal and external promotors contributing to the development of the Sub Segment
Be responsible for the input to the BBM Segments part for Metal Fabrication including full cost planning annually
Support CC’s in the annual BRM process for activity and target alignment
Drive resolution of monthly report items from all CC’s
Provide a monthly Sub Segment report for the BM Metal Fabrication
Develop innovative marketing and sales material with strong customer value proposition for all solutions in the product portfolio towards the Sub Segment
Initiate activities and drive the SPP for the Sub Segment and drive a pro-active life cycle management from cradle to grave in alignment with the GI process-chart


What we expect of you
We are looking for an individual with a strong drive to develop a new market in Rail MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations). You should understand the applications within the Sub Segment in Metal Fabrication and have experience of building new business opportunities within this specific sub segment. Experience from working in international environment in prior roles within sales and key account management is of high value. A successful candidate should also display the ability to lead a sales team and have a clear understanding of value selling.
You hold a Bachelor or Master in Engineering or Marketing. Fluency in English is a must, written and spoken, whereas an additional language is highly valued.
The role has the ownership of the driving the subsegment on a global level as well as taking care of the daily business. High flexibility and being able to prioritize specific activities at a rapid pace is vital. You have the capacity to execute your strategy into specific goals and results with a solid financial understanding.
We expect applicants to have good knowledge of our current sales channels but also to be a person that strives to develop and gain more knowledge. You are also expected to contribute in building a team spirit where sharing knowledge is vital.
