Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Sourcing Category Manager. In this role, your contributions will be to develop and administer Category Strategy, Targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) and secure a Category Supplier base that supports Ericsson current & future business needs. By doing so, you are in charge of steering business awards to PSL suppliers, regulate risk, cost and demands, whilst securing quality and compliance.
You will work in a global team (with team members in all continents) and be globally responsible for two important categories: Base Station Antennas and Antenna Near Products (Antenna Line Devices), with a significant amount of Spend. You will work closely with Product management, Sales and R&D in mainly Ericsson Antenna Systems and be a key player in strengthening Ericsson's position in the Antenna market.
Location of the position is flexible, but it’s an advantage to be located in Central European Time zone. Your key stakeholders are located in Stockholm/Kista, Sweden and in Rosenheim, Germany.

You will:
Develop, implement, and drive Category Strategy
Administer supplier base and supplier classification
Define Supplier targets and critical metrics
Create cost effective category solutions and business models
Optimize category performance
Identify and Perform business intelligence and benchmark
Lead selected critical negotiations and RfX projects
Support and steer your team colleagues (Strategic Sourcing Managers) with Category strategy advice
To be successful in the role you must have:
Education: MBA, M Sc or similar
Min years of experience: +10 years in Strategic Sourcing and Supply chain management and/or expertise in Antenna Systems domain
Domain experience: Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supply Chain Management.
