Our Green factories and sustainable facilities assessment tool cover the entire manufacturing chain from CO2 emissions and waste to production, resources, and working environment. The perfect sustainability strategy does not yet exist, and it's a massive challenge for our world today. Still, our teams of experts aim to change that - we have a clear focus on sustainability with perceivable goals for this decade that we’re thrilled to meet. We’re convinced that magic happens when we join forces to solve real problems!
Being sustainable means being proactive, and we can't adapt quickly to change without the help of our brilliant minds. Therefore, we're now looking for a Global Category Manager who can take the lead and strive forward aligned with our sustainability strategy - is that you? Please keep reading!

Hydrogen and industrial gas are also included as a particularly important subcategory and part of your sources of interest and responsibility.
In addition, you create and ensure the implementation of agreements, establish good relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, and cooperate with the different product entities. Furthermore, you ensure that the sourcing strategy aligns with our Green Factory and Sustainable Facilities initiative, as well as our overall business strategy.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a relevant degree in Business, Economy, or similar.
You have extensive experience in category management in an international environment.
In addition, you have experience in
- sustainable sourcing in electricity and green energy.
- Hedge Management and a natural talent for risk reduction.

You’re also responsible for sourcing strategy for the facility, to be established in close co-operation with the global strategic purchaser. You're genuinely collaborative and confident in communicating in verbal and written English, as you have many international contacts included in the position.
You have a crucial role in our organization where you're allowed to contribute to our sustainability shift with a lot of freedom and trust. We prefer to have you at our Swedish site in Sandviken, although the right candidate can work from any of our major sites in Europe, Asia, or the US; for more information about our sites – check out the link below.
