Qualifications and experience
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in the automotive industry
• Expertise in global CAPEX purchasing and supplier management
• Proven track record in change leadership
• Efficient, proactive and a hands-on approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial manager with relevant leadership experience
• Degree in Business Engineering or other technical or economical studies
• Business fluent in English written and spoken
About the position
We are looking for a Global Purchasing Category Manager based in our Swedish / Gothenburg office. The Position holder will oversee approx. 60Mio Euro in CAPEX spend, owning all relevant strategic global purchasing activities for Machinery & Equipment which are required to support the massive increases in new business across all Business segments.
You will be actively engaging and executing global and regional contract negotiations, communicate and cooperate with our suppliers and stakeholders. Other activities include development and implementation of category strategies, identify saving opportunities, and lead the supplier review meetings. In addition to this the position holder will actively support our purchasing digitalization roadmap by deploying and rolling out a state-of-the-art E-Procurement platform globally.
Lead the teams who are focused on fixing issues. This role is extremely important and will report to Global Director for indirect purchasing located in Germany.
