You will be part of our Global Sourcing team reporting directly to the Manager Global Direct Sourcing into the Epiroc Sourcing Council consisting of Vice Presidents from every Division.
You will be collaborating in a global category team represented by members from all Epiroc entities. We are an inclusive and diverse team that lives by our core values: innovation, collaboration, and commitment.
We are global team sitting in, Sweden (Örebro), Czech Republic (Prague) and India (Bangalore).
Your mission
Your mission as Global Category Manager - Powertrain is to build and lead a cross divisional team in Epiroc Sourcing executing the strategy cross the globe, matching the targets to create transparency, alignment and cooperation between Epiroc Sourcing functions, and by that minimize the risk with the supplier base, capture cost and efficiency savings. We work actively with category management, and it will be expected that this role will be a leading star in using and promoting our internal tool, Cirtuo. Targets and strategies are defined and approved by all Epiroc divisions yearly by Epiroc Sourcing Council.
In this position you will safeguard Customer centric sourcing in all activities, Sourcing focus on meeting customer expectation, develop efficient and accurate routines in the fields of Global Category Manager for MR.
You will also safeguard the integrity and transparency of operations and ensure proper business and financial control in line with Group's standards and procedures. Ensure through training and follow-up that all activities are in line with Business Code of Practice. Keep an open and communicative atmosphere and strengthen the mindset, where we see and respect each other and where everyone can grow together and contribute to the development of MR Sourcing Council total performance.
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced category manager who would like to take the next step in the career.
To enjoy working in this position you should be a pro-active and goal- oriented individual with an entrepreneurial approach. This position requires strong communication and negotiation skills to negotiate with different stakeholders. To be a successful Global Category manager you must have a high level of personal drive, strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and enjoy building networks and also have an interest and technical understanding.

Since we are a global organization, excellent communication in English (verbal and written) is a requirement.
Location and travel
We are flexible about where the role can be located, any Epiroc production or hub location is preferred. Travel is required approximately 30 days per year.
