About the job
As Global Change Leader, you’re responsible for executing the vision and strategy in Sandvik Coromant’s Transformation 4.0 program – within both the Lean Production System and our Digital Transformation globally. Establish and evolve methods and processes based on business needs, you develop and contribute to portfolio, program and project management to ensure that projects and programs are delivered according to defined scope, quality, time and cost management. We’re looking for applicants with a hands-on approach in a production environment. You work closely with production and have a solid understanding of production systems and processes with ability to provide solutions and build operational excellence.
Some of your main responsibilities include:
Do training for project managers and steering groups in an established way of working.
Manage and perform reviews of projects and programs.
Ensure project model alignment.
Develop, establish and follow up on project/program controlling and project KPI's.
Ensure that portfolio, program, and project management are performed in line with guidelines.
Job location is flexible within Sweden and travel is a natural part of the job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant degree in Engineering or Sciences, or you’ve gained equivalent knowledge from your working career. You have extensive work experience in Lean Manufacturing, preferably from the global manufacturing or process industry. And if you have previous experience in management consulting in operations and implementation, it’s meritorious. Further, you master operational excellence; and Lean principles, tools, and methods, including:
SMED
Standardized work
Kanban/Pull Systems
TPM
Kaizen
5S
Six Sigma Methodology
Value Stream Mapping
PDCA
Visual management
And you have the ability to set up our Lean Transformation toolbox and aid our sites in finding tools that suit their business needs. Since we act on the global scene, written and verbal English fluency are required. A second language, for example, Hindi, German, Swedish, or Chinese, is a plus.

You're driven by working through things all the way, from start to end, in a timely manner. You're a skilled communicator who can collaborate with diverse teams and drive change in different areas within Sandvik Coromant Supply. Having a solution-centric approach to problem-solving - your trained eye spots improvement opportunities and waste elimination through lean and digital levers. In addition, your analytical mind helps you read, analyze, interpret, and effectively present information to multiple stakeholders across all levels.
