About the job
This is a key position to keep developing our channel business in the Food- and Pharma markets, as this is our biggest opportunity for growth. In this role you will drive and support the channel business (distributors and system builders) for Food Heat Transfer, in close cooperation with our colleagues in the sales companies around the world. Although we work with a number of different types of heat exchangers in multiple markets, focus for this position is Plate Heat Exchangers in the dairy-, brewery- and beverages industries.
One major part of this role is to take on the responsibility as Key Account Manager for the heat exchanger part of Alfa Laval’s business to our largest and strategically most important customer, Tetra Pak.
Like all kinds of business, working with distributors and system builders has its own traits. A large part of the value we bring to these customers reach beyond the hardware. A big part of your contribution to our business is about working with these values, making it easy and attractive to work with the Food Heat Transfer portfolio. The position is based in Lund, Sweden or in Kolding, Denmark.
Key responsibilities
* Support and coach Sales Companies around the world in their work with established and new channels
* Support and coach new and established Channels with their sales activities in heat exchanger business
* Key Account Manager for the heat exchanger part of our business to our most important customer
* Together with other stakeholders in the division, continue the development of channel programmes
* Secure commitment from internal and external stake holders to help executing the plans
What you know
* Minimum 3 years of documented success in channel business development within technical B2B sales
* Experience from an international business environment
* Your previous experience has given you a good understanding of business drivers for distributors and system builders, preferably in the Food industry.
