We are now recruiting for a Global Commercial Logistics Manager to join our growing Logistics department at the HQ in Gothenburg. In this role you will travel approx. 20 to 30% of your time.
The Global Commercial Logistics team’s purpose is to ensure that the logistics function can deliver excellent performance aligned to the requirements and expectations of their customers (internal or external).

The primary tasks are:
To secure that Mölnlycke is working with the right service provider when it comes to performance vs costs.
To manage strong relationships with strategic service providers
To align service provider performance with internal customer requirements (factories, suppliers, warehouses, distributors, market companies).
To ensure service provider performance meets or exceeds performance expectations while ensuring optimum pricing.
To support the development of a culture of continuous improvement across functions in the company, looking and “end-to-end” solutions


The Key Accountabilities in this role:
Develop strategic agenda and objectives with strategic suppliers that align with business objectives and goals
Secure valid contracts with Global Logistics suppliers
Develop a supplier account management plan that ensures logistics capabilities are developed and continuously improved to meet Mölnlycke’s requirements
Develop and lead appropriate supplier/cross functional forums to develop and promote proposals for innovation and/or process improvement
Conduct regular, prioritized business reviews and opportunity analysis with suppliers and local markets and build into strategies and plans
Deliver cost reduction targets for supplier(s) through optimization
Develop highly effective internal and external customer relationships
Act as last escalation on commercial related issues
Provides input on Logistics budget
Monitor the overall logistics market and provide insight about market development
To support changes in Mölnlycke’s foot print and supply chain
Secure that contracts are updated and compliance with changes in regulations as GDP and MDR
CSR and environment impact should be part of our continuous improvements and decisions

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or similar
Extensive experience, 10-15 years, from working for or with logistics providers
Negotiation skills and experience from closing agreements with logistics providers
Proficient in all MS-Office applications
Excellent spoken and written English
