Global Commercial Technology Manager

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a new Global Commerical Technologies Manager predominantly working with the suite of Salesforce applications. This role, reporting into the global Commercial Growth and Technologies organization, has the unique opportunity to make an impact across every business and brand in Ingersoll Rand.
The role would have full ownership for creating and maintaining the execution playbook, which is a critical set of standard work to effectively onboard new businesses to Salesforce or bolt on new applications such as CPQ, Field Service, and Portals that drive enhanced business value.
Responsibilities
· Works with business stakeholders in Sales, Service, Customer Service, and Marketing to support the development of CRM business strategy and collaborates with all levels of management to support the successful execution of that strategy
· Develops the holistic vison for the CRM Technology and the suite of standard complimentary applications based on business strategy, including multiyear roadmaps for CRM technologies and onboarding future businesses
· Collects business objectives, generates solution options, defines the global core architecture, and provides recommendations that are applicable across the entire business
· Develops current and future state architecture, data models, and process flows in alignment with best practices and business goals
· Establishes standards & principles and the governance frameworks
· Provides technical consultation, meeting with colleagues to provide technical expertise and perspective
· Builds employee knowledge and skills related to Salesforce applications
· Develops policies, standards, principles, and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Salesforce tools and technologies globally
· Creates and maintains the execution playbook, which is a critical set of standard work used to effectively onboard new businesses to Salesforce or bolt on new applications such as CPQ, Field Service, and Customer Portals
· Ensures Salesforce solutions are scalable, adaptable, and aligned with changing business and strategic needs, such as the company’s IoT goals supporting connected devices

Skills & qualifications
· Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues in a simplistic way, as well as, interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation across a global cross-functional team environment
· Customer focus: Exceptional ability to probe customer needs and translate customer requirements into system solutions and specifications
· Project / Program Management skills: Ability to lead and manage projects, including schedules, mitigate risks, and provide clear communication with stakeholders.
· Salesforce skills: Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of Salesforce core application, Oracle CPQ, and Customer and Channel portals·
· CRM & Application Technical skills: Comprehensive knowledge of CRM capabilities including Sales, Service, Marketing, salesforce automation & Telephony Integration
· Governance and Process skills: Effectively define and capture system and functional process standards, data workflows, system architecture, and business processes
· Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills: Strong analytical driven decision making mindset and approach to identifying root causes, architect solutions, and implement lean processes
Self-guided Learner: Continually seeking the latest resources and creative ways to further develop ones knowledge and capabilities by staying current with CRM applications, tools, and technologies
10+ years of experience developing and maintaining cost-effective and highly scalable global CRM solutions is required
3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com in a business admin or systems technical role required
Project management experience is required
Deep hands on experience with Oracle and SAP ERP platforms
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
Salesforce.com Certified Technical Architect is a strong plus
