Oriflame is now looking for a Global Communication Manager. The position is temporary for one year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement communication strategy.
- Set-up of annual category specific product communication activation plan in line with budget and alignment with mkt Director, Product Portfolio Management & Communication Director, Creative services and Regional teams.
- Set-up of product communication targets reflecting financial targets, brand strategy, direct sales needs, innovation to give highest ROI.
- Input to product communication toolbox based on category and regional requirements.
- Ownership and driving quarterly stories in line with brand strategy to drive financial targets without newness.
- Support Brand Managers and Marketing Director to develop strong, easy to duplicate and differentiated Product Stories through training, challenging and collaborative work.
- Support and train Brand Managers in developing strong briefs to creative service terms.
- Ensure consistent product communication in line with brand and category strategy.
- Create content for presentations.
- Responsibility for regional best practice sharing of communications activities for respective category with global and regional functions.
- Responsibility for category related product communication for conferences, internal and external events together with Marketing Director and Senior Manager Product Communication.
Qualification and experience:
Must have
- Experienced marketing communication professional with a passion for communication.
- University/college degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or Communications.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing and/or communication roles within FMCG or agency.
- Proven track record of communication strategic planning.
- Proven track record in developing successful communication concepts for brands.
- Very good understanding and handling of consumer insights.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- MS Office Skills.
Preferable
- Experienced in international matrix organisations
- Experienced in working with in-house agencies
- Experienced in SKC communication
Skills and knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Strong time management capabilities, with the ability to preform multiple tasks and objectives.
- High drive to pursue targets.
- Strong sense of initiative and a self-starter who can work equally well in groups or on their own.
- Results oriented, flexible, open to change and willing to work in a multi-cultural, multi-task and dynamic work environment.
- Positive and respectful with a high level of integrity.
- Dare to question and challenge but also understand the benefits of nurturing a relationship, benefiting both parties.
