Global Compliance Officer

Arbetsbeskrivning

Do you have strong integrity and a passion for doing business in an ethical and sustainable way? Then you might be our next colleague!
To strengthen Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions compliance journey, we’re now looking for a Global Compliance Officer. A truly unique opportunity to join us on an exciting journey where legal and compliance are essential parts of the business strategy. We need a person eager to raise awareness and actively promote the importance of the ethical way of conducting business, ensuring the development of a solid compliance culture and robust processes throughout our organization.
About the job
This is a role with a scope covering the full suite of Sandvik compliance programs, such as Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption, Data Privacy, Trade and Competition. You are part of a legal and compliance team and are a business partner to our global organization with a mission to ensure a high level of compliance with laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures. You also implement monitoring frameworks for identifying, reporting and mitigating compliance risks within your area of responsibility.
You work actively to support business in the compliance journey, to raise the awareness of all compliance related matters via trainings and communication, by connecting Sandvik compliance programs to our operations in an easy and understandable way – making it a natural part of our day-to-day business and relevant business processes. Through communication and training and by supporting the business with solving compliance matters and implementation of compliance processes and controls at different levels in the organization, you make sure that we are managing both risks and opportunities across the entire Business Area and Sales Areas.
You report directly to the Business Area Compliance Director. The location for this role is preferably in Stockholm or Malmö, but other locations can be discussed as well. Travel between our sites and additional international travel is a natural part of your job.
Your background and personality
For this position, we need a person with a relevant degree – such as Law, Business Administration or Finance – in combination with solid experience in compliance areas, governance, audits, risk management and operations. Implementing and executing compliance programs and business processes, assessing risks, driving projects and change, guiding management and organizations are tasks you have had in previous jobs. Experience from the manufacturing industry is a strong advantage. Implementing Compliance programs is a significant part of how you have built your professional expertise, and experience in the areas of ABC and Data Privacy could be an advantage. You master stakeholder management and different levels, communicate and behave openly. Doing business in all corners of the world requires a cultural awareness and excellent communication skills in English, and knowledge of other languages including Swedish is a plus.
Mixing a holistic approach with analyzing details, and critically evaluating the risks and rewards for the business and organization is essential. Solid communication skills help you build trust and develop global networks and collaborations. You are also tech savvy and want to explore how compliance matters can benefit from digital solutions. With your persistent, organized and self-driven features, you know how to prioritize and are a fast learner. Your agility and passion for change create a strong buy-in across the organization.
At Sandvik, we believe that diversity of experience, perspective and background leads to a better environment for our employees, our business and our customers. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
