About the role
Do you want to work with entirely new technology at the forefront of electromobility? We have a spot open, and we hope it’s yours! As Global Component Responsible, you will play a key role in developing Traction Voltage Monitoring (TVM) solutions in multifunction high voltage energy distribution units. In close collaboration with your team and our suppliers, you will specify the technical requirements, choose the supplier solution, and secure the industrialization and maintenance of the solution. As a part of our newly formed TVM & EVS team in Power Conversion, you will have the opportunity to work with the coolest technical challenges in an encouraging environment where key characteristics are joy, knowledge-sharing, and openness. Additional responsibilities:
Secure the supplier deliveries by managing the work distribution.
Ensure that the suppliers understand the technical requirements here at Volvo and the needs of our customers and application.
Actively work with the team on the features in the JIRA backlog during the Program Increment.
We are looking for a
… result-oriented team player with solid technical leadership that engage and inspire. You have a strategic ability to understand, identify and adapt to future needs and are highly effective at planning and prioritizing tasks. With your knowledge of electronic circuits and embedded system development, you are confident in your role and comfortable collaborating with different stakeholders. Moreover, you are as creative as structured and passionate about networking across functions to achieve shared objectives.
Requirements:
You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechatronics engineering or similar.
A couple of years of experience in analog and digital electrical circuit design.
Meritorious if you have leadership experience, i.e., as a scrum master or similar technical lead.
Fluent in both written and verbal English.
