Overview
In the journey to become best in class FMCG company, SCA would like to become more consumer/customer/shopper centric. Our vision for our Consumer and Customer Insight Team, is to move from traditional market researchers to business partners, delivering insights and foresights. We believe that knowledge management is a key competitive advantage. In order to help this transformation we are looking for a global consumer insight manager.
The position will be part of Global Hygiene Category (GHC). GHC leads SCA’s hygiene brand portfolio and delivers brand development and innovation for our three business areas, Incontinence Care, Consumer Goods (Feminine, Baby and Consumer Tissue) and Professional Hygiene.
The position will report to the Global Consumer Insight Director Consumer Goods (Feminine, Baby, Consumer Tissue).
The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
As Global Consumer Insight Manager, your main responsibility will be to support the team and the Business Units with Market Research in order to unlock business potential.
Main Tasks
To provide market research knowledge, expertise and methodological advice for the innovation/communication team
Being the consumer champion within the team and the wider SCA marketing community
Consolidate and secure the use of relevant consumer knowledge & trends to generate insight in order to fuel innovation and communication
Commission and run large or continuous research projects (e.g. segmentation, brand health tracking) and help teams to run projects according to standardized methodologies
Propose and implement the annual research plan to fill consumer knowledge/insight gaps
Act as true business partner for Communication and Innovation Teams, as well as Global Brand Director
Ensure we know what we know: pro-actively sharing learnings through consumer/customer/shopper network and updated market research library
Experience and Key Competencies
Required Education & Experience
University degree or equivalent in one of business, mathematics, statistics, sociology, psychology or other relevant academic field
4-7 years’ experience of market management specializing in consumer insight work
Operational experience in market research projects (design, method, execution, analysis, interpretation)
Demonstrated ability to lead projects in a collaborative international environment
Ideally worked in both operating business as well as marketing HQ
Fluent in English, both written and oral
