Your mission
In this position, you will spend your days surveying information, creating client reports, summarizing data with graphs and tables and being involved in building quality business plans for our portfolio of global customers.
This role will require you to:
* Prepare reports on your findings and present the data in a reasonable and clearly defined manner.
* Devise and assess procedures and methods for data collection, including, surveys and questionnaires
* Gather information on competitors, and study their sales, prices and methods of distribution to thoroughly learn about the competition.
* Track and forecast trends in sales, and investigate in detail the data collected to provide management with thorough reports.
* Collect and study data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand
* Work with the individual Global key account managers to build meaningful business plans for each client.
* Develop scorecards to measure the performance against the KPI’s and business plans.
Your profile
We see that you have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. Professional presentation skills are required for this role so we believe you have excellent oral and written communication skills and that you are able to convey information in a professional and understandable way. You have the ability to multitask well and we see you have a strong background in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in market research and experience with various survey tools are beneficial as well as an understanding of the mining and construction market.
