Your Role
The purpose of this role is to accelerate the scaling of our D2C ecommerce business and contribute to its ongoing success. You will act as a global lynchpin for our D2C ecommerce agenda helping our BA’s to realise their ambitions. Together with the BA’s you will help to create our strategy, implement best practice ways of working and play a leading role in engaging with IT to ensure our tech roadmap enables successful ecommerce. This means delivering on our commercial, brand and CX objectives working with the BA’s to figure out where we play and how to win in the market. A key aspect of this role is engaging with the BA’s to understand their realities and collaborating to capture synergies, share learnings and act as the primary interface to IT to represent our overall requirements and needs in the context of ecommerce.
This role will lead the global development and roll out of a consumer oriented strategy that links to overall commercial and channel strategies in business areas, while ensuring the use of aligned measurement frameworks and KPI’s for direct ecommerce based on existing best practice internally or sourced externally. This would include creating /adapting/building consistent frameworks for planning and sharing of learning across Business Areas and functions. This role will also lead the development and deployment of the Electrolux D2C value proposition and its adaptation/implementation across BA’s and brands.
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, results-oriented team player that has experience driving D2C ecommerce, excellent communication skills, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to think strategically and drive execution without direct authority.
A Typical Day
§ Lead vision of a long-term D2C ecommerce strategy and consumer experience that contemplates brand positioning, emerging digital shopping experiences, rising industry trends, and evolving consumer expectations. Direct the execution of this vision with an eye towards best practices in holistic digital customer journey management.
§ Analyze and report data to measure the commercial achievements in the channel, and to ensure an optimization approach on a regular basis
§ Develop recommendations to reach new consumers through our direct channel, and engage with owners on new offers, leveraging the value proposition and digital marketing channels
§ Global lead for ensuring the D2C value proposition is clearly defined, communicated and deployed – localized for market or BA specificity
§ Work closely with marketing teams to drive the development and use of a multi-touch attribution model including how D2C ecommerce co-exists effectively alongside our partner retail sales channels
§ Drive global approach to leveraging technologies and content to automate marketing where possible
§ Own and drive global forum where D2C Ecommerce topics will be reviewed and KPI’s monitored and discussed
§ Develop, deploy and own guidelines/playbooks globally – with localized elements to ensure relevance and usefulness
§ Champion data driven/analytical approach to ecommerce – leveraging conversion marketing teams and external data sources to optimize the web site experience
§ In partnership with finance, deploy the economic model for D2C across all markets and BA’s
§ Business owner for tech roadmap – in partnership with IT
o Collect, synthesize and translate business requirements for both large- and small-scale IT decisions working closely with CX IT
o Develop and deploy guideline for requirement analysis for ongoing projects and future tech implementations
§ Deliver against aligned D2C KPIs while also optimizing against customer lifetime value (in conjunction with consumer data team)
§ Provide results and recommendations for new approaches, technologies and ideas to lead the overall topic as a subject matter expert globally
§ Find areas of synergy and build a culture of co-development across BA’s and teams to deliver the most consistent direct ecommerce experience possible
§ Mine external and internal information to share broadly and provide teams with new insights and thinking from industry experts
§ Ensure successes and failures are shared broadly so that the entire group is able to leverage learnings and opportunities.

· University degree in Marketing or related area.


EDUCATION
§ University degree (MBA preferred)


EXPERIENCE
§ At least 15+ years’ experience – preference is to have worked globally/internationally and have direct to consumer electronics experience
§ Direct to consumer ecommerce experience is essential
§ Experience across digital channels, media and traffic driving activities
§ Data driven measurement and consumer focused design experience is plus
