Epiroc is looking for a Global Dangerous Goods Specialist to be our Group Subject Matter Expert and lead the development and implementation of our Global Dangerous Goods policies and procedures. Your mission
In this role, you'll design, communicate, and continually enhance our Global Dangerous Goods (DG) policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring they are consistently applied across all Epiroc locations. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external regulatory agencies to manage updates and advocate for Epiroc’s interests before national and international authorities such as IATA and IMDG.
You'll play a crucial part in enhancing DG safety and compliance performance by working across all organizational levels. Identifying global DG training needs and developing comprehensive training programs in partnership with Epiroc University and Divisions will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. As the DG Subject Matter Expert, you will provide expert consultation to ensure proper interpretation and application of DG regulations and continuously improve DG Master Data quality and sustainability.
Moreover, you'll conduct audits in collaboration with SHEQ and Group Internal Audit teams, ensuring that all safety and compliance measures are meticulously followed.

Your profile
To excel in this position, you should have a Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent education and experience. We are seeking a candidate with approximately 8-10 years of experience working in a similar role. You must hold a current certification for all modes of DG transport. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, who is performance-driven and an analytical thinker. You should have the ability to focus on details as well as the bigger picture, possess a passion for DG with a structured project mindset, and have a strong customer focus. Being a strong team player and a ONE-TEAM motivator is essential.

Location and travel
This position can be located in Örebro, Stockholm or Fagersta – Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
