The Global DBS Director is responsible for developing the DBS Strategy and Kaizen roadmap to support and sustain the continued business growth.
The position plays a key role in our global organization and is an integral part of the senior management team reporting to the President located in the HQ in Ängelholm.

You will be responsible for the Strategic vision and future state of DBS and will collaborate with the three functional DBS Leaders (DBSL’s) to drive sustained change and process improvements with a strong focus on enabling growth while ensuring all our leaders lead with DBS

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Support the Leadership Team in Policy Deployment and setting Strategic objectives
Ensure productive kaizen events
Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments for growth
Promote and facilitate associate development in various DBS tools
Benchmark and incorporate best practices (within and outside DHR)
Develop the DBS team and organization
Sustain and lead a network of three DBS Leader
Leverage internal and external Subject Matter Experts as appropriate
Personally lead DBS training and lead continuous improvement
Lead, develop and follow-up on action plans

The essential requirements for this position include:
BSc or MS degree in business administration or Engineering/Science
5+ years of people or stakeholder leadership experience with demonstrated success
5+ years of demonstrated experience of Toyota Productions System and methodologies (or similar), and proven process improvement and change management skills
Good understanding of DBS fundamentals
Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from peers at executive level to Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders, project managers and practitioners in all functional areas
Proficiency with personal computer applications, required (Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project and Power Point)
Strong analytical skills and applied knowledge of Problem Solving and project management.
Estimated Travel 20 %
Fluent English – written and spoken (business level)
It would be a plus if you also speak Scandinavian
