Main responsibilities
As the Global Demand Manager Intermediates, you will be responsible to deliver a monthly global demand plan as part of the business planning process. Further, the role will build on the combination of statistical forecasting practices and scenario planning to develop the sales forecast. Additionally the role will focus on increasing the efficiency of the supply chain through targeted forecast accuracy and associated KPIs to ensure product availability to meet the sales plan while minimizing operational costs.
Examples of work tasks are;
• Demand Forecast:
o Analyze and manage the forecast and compare with historical sales history - Time period of relevance is 1 to 24-month future horizon.
o Fundamental work product is a 24 month forward look at the global demand at material/ship-to-customer level, aggregated as necessary.
o Monthly reporting of Demand Management scorecard.
• Stakeholder Management:
o Coordinate the execution of the demand plan with responsible sales teams and customer services teams, effectively managing any exceptions with supply capability.
o Actively communicate situation on slow moving products / discontinued products to the Sales Managers.
• Forecast Segmentation and Statistical Forecast Models:
o Realize forecast segmentation to identify materials applicable to collaborative forecast and products that require market information. Re-evaluation at least annually to ensure correct forecast segment.
• Business Planning:
o Prepare and facilitate global and regional Demand Management Reviews (DMR).
o Support the Demand Supply Review (DSR) to drive tactical implementation of the approved plans within 1-3 months horizon.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position we believe you are a problem-solver who are structured as well as result-oriented. Further, you are demonstrating a strong capacity to analyze data, with a process driven mindset as well as possess strong interpersonal skills as this role is highly communicative with internal stakeholders in related functions. We also see that you have:
B. Sc in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline
Minimum 5-7 years work experience in a relevant professional area.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Excellent IT competence / experience regarding:

- Standard Office Software;
- Sharepoint
- SAP incl Ariba
- Business Warehouse (or equivalent data)
- Arkieva (or equivalent data)
Please note, this role is expected to travel approx 10% or working time.

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the BP& SC Manager Intermediates and based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
