Responsibilities
This is an outgoing role, in close collaboration with the sales companies around the globe. You will be a member of the growing planning team. In this role Flint Group see that a hybrid working arrangement is possible, where you are some days on site and can work some days from home. As already mentioned, the demand planning process is under development and so the ability to drive progress and development is key in this role. We are looking for you who gets inspired and motivated by identifying way forward, plan and secure speedy execution even when actions needs to be taken by others. You will be the one to dig into data and make the correct and efficient decisions on what additional analyses are required. It is important to be confident in what questions to ask, to understand reliability of different input and boil the data down to useful information. A vital part of the role is of course to interpret sales input, so this requires good cooperation and high trust with the wider sales community.

Some of your most common assignment will be:
• To drive the quantitative portion of the demand planning process according to set cadence, e.g. run the analysis of demand patterns, validate and analyze the output of the systems proposals
• To feed demand updates/indications to the rest of the organization, by presenting data in an accessible way
• To coordinate and take active part in the demand planning process, e.g. set process schedule for the demand planning and drive data collection and validation with sales companies, R&D, product management and international key accounts
• To coordinate the demand planning process with the global Planning manager, to present updates of the demand plan with an estimate of accuracy depending on segments, markets, new business potential and historical sales
• To perform risk assessments and communicate the results both in the team and to other relevant part of the organization
• To drive continuous improvements of the demand planning process
• To support and guide sales in understanding how the forecast is calculated and what parameters that are driving the demand development, both in demand meetings but also ad hoc

Qualifications
To be happy and successful in this role, we have set the following requirements of experience:

• A MSc degree, preferably in supply chain, statistical analyses/math or equivalent working experience

• Working experience in a similar role in a fast pace industry

• Experience in working in a supply planning system

• Experience in working in ERP systems

• Excellent skills in Excel

• Experience in defining and working with forecast models and forecast KPI´s

• Good experience in presenting data in a way that makes it easy to grasp

• Excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing

If you have knowledge and experience in SAP and perhaps specifically Slim4, this will be seen as a plus. Also if you have experience working with project management. Knowledge in any of the Nordic languages is also an advantage. 

Regarding personal traits, we see that you are a self-driven, skilled problem solver and have a great analytical sense. You are structured and good at planning your work. We also see that you are curious, with a strong drive to lead your area of expertise. You are a patient team player, with good communication skills.
