Play a key role in the Product Management & Product Development team and support the Medium Voltage Design team, securing a competitive global product portfolio 

Do you have a proven track-record within electrical power engineering? And do you want to contribute defining the future medium- and high voltage product portfolio for a global company in the B2B market? You will drive and execute on designing cables with a mindset to support and challenge the internal and external stakeholders. Then, we have an open position in our Applications Business Line. You will contribute to defining the product portfolio and will report directly to the Head of MV Design, Applications.

Contribute to setting the medium & high voltage portfolios pipeline
You will join a business where Product Management & Product Development has an important role in unfolding the business strategy. You will be working close together with the cable designers in three countries. You have an educational background within electrical engineering and are a team-player who enjoys working with stakeholders at all levels in a global organization. 

Your work tasks includes: 
* Design of cables according relevant country specific and international standards.
* Initiative relevant testing e.g. type tests, routine and sample testing. 
* Communicate designs and design changes to relevant stakeholders
* Update design to meet changes in standards
* Product master data maintenance (incl. preparation catalogues, technical datasheet of cables)
* 3rd line technical support 
* Provide control of certificates
* Calculation of electric parameters of cables
* Tender preparation
* Supporting Product Management team and actively contributing to defining the development and innovation pipeline

Your qualifications: 
* Bachelor (or higher) degree within electrical engineering or equal
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within design/electrical engineering
* Knowledge within SAP, CYME and Access/SQL database
* Speak and write English fluently
* Are able and willing to travel as needed
* It is a merit if you have experience within the cable industry
