Overview
We are looking for a Global Design Manager to the AfH Professional Hygiene category within Global Hygiene Category (GHC) replacing present function holder during her parental leave between August 2017 and August 2018. GHC leads SCA’s hygiene brand portfolio and delivers brand development and innovation for our three business areas, Incontinence Care, Consumer Goods and Professional Hygiene.
Your main responsibility as a Global Design Manager will be the graphical pack design development process for Tork but also to provide design competence to development projects.
The position holder is a member of the Master Brand Team and reports to the Global Master Brand Director. Please note that this is a temporary position, location Gothenburg, Sweden.



Main Tasks
Supervise and support innovation teams and Business Units in graphical pack design development process and other design development
Monitor and manage design development in relation to the Global Tork Design Guidelines
Secure Tork Design DNA in product and pack design
Drive design related projects and activities
Manage interface with external design resources where these are used
Supply design competence to innovation projects in all phases in Innovation Funnel
Identify, understand and translate business needs into design solutions
Support the category in design related questions

Key Competencies
University degree in Industrial design or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated high skill level & experience in industrial design
Experience from graphical pack design from an international brand
Relevant software knowledge (e.g. Adobe suite, MS Office)
Familiar in working with external agencies and suppliers
Preferably international experience and exposure
Fluent in English, both written and oral

To be successful in this role you should be customer driven and have strong collaboration and networking skills, with the capability to sell ideas and motivate others. You need to have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
