Overview
We are looking for a Global Digital Content Editor to our business unit Away from Home (AfH) within Global Hygiene Category (GHC). GHC leads SCA’s hygiene brand portfolio and delivers brand development and innovation for our three business areas, Incontinence Care, Consumer Goods and Professional Hygiene.
SCA offers Tork, the leading global brand in workplace hygiene. From paper towels in hospital washrooms to napkin dispensers in restaurant dining rooms, Tork delivers a great experience for the user and a convenient experience for the buyer. The range of dispensers, refills and services is designed to meet the specific needs of washrooms, industrial environments, kitchens, and dining areas.
As a Global Digital Content Editor your main responsibilities lie within the area of planning, editing and publishing web content on a regular basis for various digital channels. You will also secure that contents are delivered on time accordingly to the plan agreed upon, that it is optimised for the channel and that it serves the true needs of our target audiences.
The position holder is a member of the Master Brand Team and reports to the Global Master Brand Director. The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Main Tasks
Curation and publishing of marketing content on Tork global websites including the interface to translation process
Work closely with contributors across the business and externally to gather content for our websites
Support the planning and maintenance of content publishing calendar
Edit, fine-tune and review content, ensuring that it is optimised for search and user experience
Upload, publishing and updating of global content including localisation guidelines
Act as support for local content editors and users on how-to questions
Train local content editors in CMS and global website framework
Key Competencies
Preferably Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or IT
Minimum 3 years working within related field
Highly skilled in working with content management systems. Experience of content editing and publishing is an advantage
Excellent editing skills, with an understanding of special requirements writing for the Web, including SEO and usability
Robust understanding of digital marketing and social media
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
We are looking for someone who is able to prioritize and execute tasks in a global, collaborative environment. To be successful in this role you shall have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and collaborate with contributors, designers, webmasters and external parties.
