What will you do?
The department Global Plant Design (GPD) within the ME organization is responsible for planning and execute Line and Equipment related projects within Power System plants. We are now strengthening our group and are therefore looking for a Global Equipment Engineer to complement present organization.
As Global Equipment Engineer you are responsible for the Global development and implementation of manufacturing equipment according to manufacturing and technology strategies. You are responsible for Global development of equipment standards used at procurement of new equipment and secure production flexibility. The goal is to develop a good production solution for a complete plant with the right level of technique. You enable close connection between ME and Production via local teams at each plant that supports the plant and are responsible for local line and equipment implementations by creating the best possible information flow between parties.
- Develop and implement global solutions for product projects, running changes, capacity projects and non-product projects according to project targets.
- Follow up of project objectives throughout industrialization until FSR (Final Status Report) and report deviations to IPM or concerned.
- Develop and implement optimal processes and product flows.
- Deliver and develop complete Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation (Tech. part).
- Lead technical evaluation and align sourcing process together with IDP (Indirect Procurement) for selection of suppliers.
- Define and/ or develop concept for shop floor control solution
- Support and be an active partner to the Plant in the strive towards Vision Plant
- Perform VSM (Value Stream Mapping) future state
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you:
- Have experience in Production Engineering and Lean Culture.
- Are independent and driving.
- Have analytical ability.
- Are open for changes.
- Have good ability to communicate in speech and writing.
- Have good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Have an Engineering degree from a college, university or equivalent gained knowledge.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the processes, methods and tools (Initial control, Teamcenter) at Manufacturing. Skills in Process Development preferably in automotive industry,
6-Sigma and LEAN competence is also a plus.
As a person we believe you have great communication skills, you collaborate well with others, put the team deliveries first and stand up for both Aurobay´s culture and business. We also think you are a structured person who plans and has documentation skills. Self-driven, result oriented, flexible and positive attitude.
