About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Global Events and Experience Manager in the Global Events Team. In this live marketing role you will drive and organize internal as well as external events from start to finish to ensure the envisioned business impact. An event manager at Ericsson is, above all, a project driver who collaborates with people in and outside of our organization and who understands marketing, project management and promotion techniques. We are looking for a hard working team mate with innovative ideas, organizational skills, a digital first demeanor, and the important eye for detail. Your tasks include international project planning, performance management, budget control, agency management, and onsite event execution. Our events are in the physical world, the virtual arena as well as hybrid. Our events become more digitally sophisticated, and therefore we look for someone that can combine the above event management skills with digital expertise and experience working with digital event or broadcasting tools.

What you will do
Manage global events from start to finish according to set requirements, target audience and objectives
Budget control
Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports according to the set goals and KIP`s
Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s impact in both a physical and digital way
Enhance face to face events with a strong digital experience
Develop and cultivate external and internal relationships
Plan and implement events in the physical, virtual and hybrid world
Coordinate different streams of the event; content, design, communication, logistics, catering, security etc.
Supervise event staff (event coordinators, caterers, event producers etc.)


You will bring
Education: University degree in Events, Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
5 years of experience in events, project management, marketing communications and agency management
Excellent organizational skills
English language skills
Customer focus and service minded
A curiosity about problem-solving
Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
A standout colleague
Business understanding
Analytical skills
Digital marketing experience and experience working with digital event tools
Social media marketing experience
Financially savvy
