A prerequisite for Scania’s successful transformation is a strong, business driven People & Culture function. This newly formed global People & Culture function will be an efficient, business centric organization signified by high engagement and capability, working within a robust operating model and value-driven culture.
We are looking for a highly motivated, agile, change-mindset, driven professional to lead the newly established Global Talent & Development Team as part of the People & Culture transformation. You will have the opportunity to lead, define and cascade the Talent & Development Management strategy throughout the global organization.
In your role, you will:
• Bring value to the organization with your ability to closely collaborate, understand business needs and gain the support of our People Business Partners, identified business leaders, and stakeholders for the Talent & Development proposed solutions.
• Lead in the collaboration with our People Business Partner Team to define and implement best development solutions and Talent Pool management framework for Scania’s High-Potential Talents thus improving business continuity and talent retention.
• Ensure an exceptional people experience in the Talent & Development Planning E2E processes through awareness and a combination of understanding industry trends, Scania needs, and the Scania culture.
• Serve with your team as a subject matter expert (SMEs) on Talent & Development, such as Talent Development programs, Talent Pool Management, Succession planning, Career Paths, Talent Trends, etc.
• Be a flexible and understanding leader during the transformation process as roles, activities and strategies are being defined and evolving.
• Develop and motivate your team by setting directions and prioritizing amongst initiatives
• You will report to the Head of Global People Services, Group and be a contributing member of the management team.
Your profile
You are an experienced global leader with high integrity and demonstrated success.
You have at least 10 years of managerial experience including 5 years within Talent & Development and ideally other business function positions.
You have an agile mindset and expertise in leading the framework development and global activity management for Talent & Development.
You have a strategic mindset, solid business acumen and are a values-driven leader.
You have strong people skills and a proven ability to influence, collaborate and motivate, especially with senior business leaders including board-level members
You have a proven track record of driving timely and effective results.
You thrive in a dynamic environment undergoing a business transformation and can easily shift focus when necessary.
You have strong communication skills. Fluent written and spoken English required and Swedish, Portuguese, Spanish, or other languages a plus.
