Global In-Store Logistics Specialist,
IKEA of Sweden, Helsingborg

The main assignment of the Global In-store Logistics Specialist is to support In-Store Logistics by optimising cooperation between Retail Logistics, IKEA of Sweden and the Commercial Matrix. Together with the country In-store Logistics Managers you will work to establish the priorities in the countries and stores to maximise the stores logistical performances. Within the role you will also work to ensure that there is a consistently high and stable availability, in the IKEA product range, for our customers at the lowest possible cost.

Assignment
-Support the product development process by giving specialist logistics input.
-Support the development of new unit load, packaging and handling material solutions.
-Support the realization of retail logistics goals and objectives by representing retail logistics in commercial matrix initiatives and projects.
-Contribute to environmental, health and safety performance, securing compliance with the group risk manual within the area of your responsibility.
-Monitor, analyze and share In-store Logistics performance and supply chain performance along with consumer feedback.

To be a successful Global In-store Specialist you need several years of broad working experience both strategically and operationally.
-Have a proven record of meeting agreed budgets and goals working within a Retail Logistic or Commercial team environment
-The ability to explain goals and purposes, to set expectations and provide a clear direction.
-Have a pro active and practical approach.
-The ability to work through others in a matrix, to set priorities and delegate responsibility.
-Be able to communicate confidently in both written and spoken English.

You have a good self awareness, confidence in your own abilities and the capability to engage receivers with the passion for your plans. We believe you are able to deliver high quality work both independently and as a part of a team.
