Volvo Penta HQ Business Control team is now looking for a Global Investment Control Manager, who will drive Investment process at Volvo Penta as well as to secure efficient EU Taxonomy reporting and driving improvements in Finance community. The role is a Short-Term Assignment for at least 12 months.
The ideal candidate is driven and structured finance professional with a can-do attitude, who is not afraid to question and is willing to learn and contribute to the transformation journey of Volvo Penta. In the role, you will report to Head of Business Control, Volvo Penta, as well as working in close cooperation with Volvo Group and Volvo Penta Finance community.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Take an active part in developing Volvo Penta Business Control Function
Knowledge sharing: providing necessary trainings in investments, business cases, Investment Management Tool, and Reporting aspect of EU taxonomy matters
Responsible for Investment process for BA Volvo Penta and alignment with AB Volvo requirements
Organizing, securing materials and follow up for Volvo Penta Global Investment Committee
Providing timely and quality assured investments overview for Volvo Penta Business Review Meeting
Support in identification and development of routines to secure alignment with EU Taxonomy
Set and manage a proper network within Volvo Penta to collect data & KPI’s and structure an efficient reporting to the Volvo Group
Represent Volvo Penta in Financial workstream in Volvo Group EU Taxonomy initiatives
Driving continuous improvements and digitalization
Key user for Investment Management Tool
EXPERIENCE
Master of Business Administration or equivalent
Senior experience from qualified business control matters in a global matrix organization
Proven experience to coordinate cross-functional networks or track record in projects management
A team player with courage and commitment to connect people and breaking down silos
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Curious personality and high motivation
Ability to work independently and as part of team in a flexible and multi-cultural environment
Strong logic and analytical skills
Ability to speak and write English fluently
