We are currently recruiting for a Global Intellectual Property Manager - TRADEMARKS to our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. This role is part of the Legal Affairs unit and will proactively provide professional value-adding IP advice and support to the global organization. The Global IP Manager – Trademarks, reports to the Global IP Director.
Independently if you today are a Trademark Attorney, or an experienced Paralegal, critical for succeeding in this role is your ability to work closely together with key stake holders, the IP team and the Legal Affairs team. A positive mindset and a willingness to drive change with a sense of urgency is key.


Key Accountabilities & Decisions:
Implement, develop and execute on IP strategies.
IP filings and portfolio management.
Risk mitigation concerning third party IPRs with possible bearing on commercial activities, such as product launches.
Encourage team work, innovation and raise IPR awareness
Support IP control in e.g. contracts Management of assigned portfolio.
Represent Molnlycke towards governmental offices in relation to e.g. IP prosecution, appeals, and oppositions.
Play an active role in IP rights enforcement - court litigation and/or customs.
Lead and participate in IP committees with stakeholder participants from R&D, Marketing and Commercial.
Proactively provide IP advice, identify and effectively address IP related opportunities and risks in relation to new product launches.
Effectively build and manage external counsel and service providers worldwide.
Provide general as well as tailor-made IP trainings.
Support in budgeting and forecasting of IP related cost.
Perform and present IP competitive intelligence IP due diligence and integration for licensing and M&A.

Competencies:
Excellent English language skills.
Broad business understanding and ability to adjust support and advice to the different needs of various parts of the organization.
Significant knowledge in European and US IP systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
At least 5 years of experience from working with Trademarks in industry or in private practice.
Attorney-at-Law, Master of Science or similar academic degree.
