Global IT Operations Manager

GANT is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Leader to join their Global IT organization. This is an instrumental role within GANT, therefore the ideal candidate must have a strong Business and technical background who enjoys working in a dynamic Retail environment with a passion to lead and motive others.

As the Global IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible to lead the IT Operations team in delivering Operational stability and high customer satisfaction for continued growth across GANT Group. You are responsible for leading operational improvement initiatives with a tight cooperation with other GANT teams. You will take accountability to report and follow-up the effectiveness of IT Operations globally and to develop a strong operational team to lead the way into the future of an ever-growing lifestyle brand.

About this position

In this newly established role you will implement and support the Global IT strategy and, together with the Project Management Office (PMO), form a close management team reporting directly to the Global IT Director. You will manage the Operational team, consisting of IT Services, IT Infrastructure and IT Retail, leading IT initiatives and service improvements for a number of Global subsidiaries and partners. In addition, you will be responsible to manage suppliers and vendors in a complex, multi-source environment. A critical success factor for this role is to further organize and align the operations function more closely to the needs and wants of the business.


Other information

As you are collaborating closely with a wide range of stakeholders, it is essential that you have strong relationship building and communication skills with a proven track record of driving change globally. You have a strong IT/Business competence with a minimum of 5 years IT Senior Operations and/or IT Operations Management experience. Expertise in workplace, servers and infrastructure operations and establishing relevant KPI's is also essential to be successful in this role.
