About the role
We are now looking for a Global Clinical Lead for Laryngectomy to join the Medical and Scientific Team.  As a Clinical Lead, you will set the future agenda for global clinical education in alignment with the global commercial plan and the local markets educational needs.  You will be responsible for developing and implementing a global curriculum offered by Atos Medical for the education of HCPs with various backgrounds and experience levels.  This includes seeking effective methods and contents to ensure delivery of high-quality clinical education and post-attendance follow-up.  You will also work closely with our Global Product Managers, the Brand Activation team and the local markets to develop educational and clinical materials for HCPs and patients.

You will be reporting to the VP of Medical and Scientific Affairs and be part of the Medical and Scientific Affairs team.  The role is full time. 

 

Your responsibilities


• Drive international clinical education activities such as international expert panels and webinars for markets not covered by local clinical education programs. This includes alignment with the global clinical education agenda, selecting and securing KOLs in liaison with the local markets, and selecting moderators.
• Serve as a key collaborator in the development of HCP educational programs or materials for global marketing campaigns and new product launches, such as ‘Webinar in a Box’.
• Provide clinical education in regards to Atos Medical’s products and their clinical use for investigators in Sponsored and Investigator Initiated Clinical Studies in order ensure appropriate and correct use of the products.
• Provide clinical education for HCPs in Atos Medical’s markets and Distributor markets on request of the managing director responsible for the market, including New Markets such as China.
• Serve as a key collaborator to Human Resources in the development of a training curriculum and relevant content for Atos Medical employees. This includes for example involvement in the selection and roll-out of a Global Learning Management System; selecting and prioritizing content to be developed; collaborating with external providers; and identifying objectives, knowledge, skills and competencies to be acquired for the different role profiles targeted with the training.
• Provide clinical expertise to the organization, for example in assigned research and development projects, global marketing campaigns and materials and instructions for use.

 

About you
To succeed in this role, we believe that you should have a strong clinical background with extensive experience in laryngectomy and able to act as a clinical expert for Atos in the field of laryngectomy.  You should have commercial experience working within medical devices and a proven track record of delivering successful strategic plans and working collaboratively to deliver key clinical projects.  You should also be naturally proactive and able to use your experience to develop our Global laryngectomy strategy and education plan.


• A university degree within Speech and Language Therapy; qualified Speech and Language Therapist
• Masters degree or PhD from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience
• Experienced in the management of laryngectomy patients in a clinical setting, including voice prosthesis management and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Clinical experience in tracheostomy is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years experience managing a team, leading on clinical development projects
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written

 

Location
This role can be based in the UK, Germany, Netherlands or our Head Office in Sweden. Some international travel will be required. US candidates, preferably from East Coast time zone may also be considered if willing to travel internationally.
