The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit electrical power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems as well as to interconnect ac networks asynchronously to achieve optimized operation.
You will be part of Global HVDC Service, within the Global HVDC & HVDC Service Product Group, in Ludvika. Maintenance service business is seeing phenomenal growth and is poised to take a dominant place in our service portfolio in near future.
Your responsibilities
Maintenance service projects execution utilizing Local Service Centers (LSCs) spread around the world
Maintenance service packages delivery to EPC projects
Delivery of inputs to maintenance service tenders
Installed Base and life cycle management
Feedback from maintenance services to affect improvements
Operational & strategic development and management of harmonized global processes & routines for supporting proactive marketing & sales, supporting optimized tendering, efficient execution of maintenance service projects, delivery of service packages to EPC, driving improvements of our systems & products through continuous and structured feedback from execution of service projects and continuous management of Installed Base & Life Cycle of different equipment
Global competence and capacity planning and development to meet business growing business need and achieve operational efficiency
Ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Your background
First and foremost, you are a confident leader with the ability to strike a balance between strategic, tactical and operational tasks to ensure that they are in line with our business’s local and global priorities.
You have good collaborative and communicative skills and thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
You have capability to inspire and support your team to achieve high performance.
You hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
You should have a minimum 15 years’ relevant experience from utilities or industries (e.g. process industries like paper and metals), out of which a minimum of 5 years as line manager being responsible for maintenance service business or leading team of project managers or service/maintenance engineers.
Experience from HVDC or FACTS or substations projects will be an advantage.
You should be fluent in English - written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish language will be an advantage.
