We are looking for a Global Manager Business Excellence & Lean Champion based in the business in Vänersborg, who will take on the journey to develop their learning culture in order to excel their continuous improvements and business transformation operations.

About the role

As Global Manager Business Excellence & Lean Champion, it is your responsibility to create a common learning culture in all our operations that involves the organization for sustainable change through the creation and embedding of continuous improvement methods and the implementation of supportive frameworks for delivering business transformation.

The position is based in Vänersborg, but you have a global responsibility which includes travelling to Tranter’s units across the globe. You will report to Vice President Global Supply Chain.

Key responsibilities:


• Define, build, and execute the strategy and procedures that support continuous improvement
• Work closely with the global operations team on programs and projects that enhance business processes, improve reliability, increase simplicity, and enable growth by using Agile, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma processes to deliver tangible business results
• Measure, analyze, and evaluate existing processes, collect data to identify root causes, perform cost benefit analysis, and identify improvement opportunities
• Develop and design documents including training manuals, process outlines, flowcharts, checklists, templates, and implementation procedures
• Facilitate process improvement meetings and workshops
• Perform annual Lean manufacturing audits on all operation units

 

Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Minimum of 8 years of experience of progressive continuous improvement, project management and business analysis
• Lean and Six Sigma certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience from leading process improvement projects & implementing lean processes
• Fluent English and Swedish written and spoken
• Agile experience is preferred

• Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with ability to apply project management skills to build relationships with technical and business stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, quantify and utilize information to make recommendations that support business choices
• Strong ability to develop and deliver engaging, informative and well organized presentations
