Talent & Development is a global HR function, responsible for delivering solutions that drive high performance throughout Sandvik. One of the key responsibility areas is Culture & Change. This includes areas like Diversity & Inclusion, Change, Employee Engagement and other processes that support the development of our corporate culture towards a high performing organization.
Key performance areas
As Global Manager for Culture & Change you work in close collaboration with top management, Line managers and HR Business Partners, in order to identify business needs within the area. You are responsible for the creation of a global framework for relevant areas that meets the business needs and is aligned with business needs and the Sandvik People strategy.
Your main responsibilities include to:
- Lead the implementation of the global frameworks, ensuring that processes, policies and directives as well as training offers are in place
- Work in close collaboration with the Global HR Functions such as Talent & Development, HR Operational Excellence, HR Services and the business to initiate, monitor and/or lead projects and initiatives within the area
- Conduct external benchmarking and maintain external and internal professional networks in order to understand new and changing needs as well as stay up to date with latest research and trends within the area
- Co-ordinate initiatives and lead virtual teams with Business Area and Country Functional Experts and manage the sharing of knowledge and best practice globally
- As a line manager lead the global Culture & Change team
The position includes international travel.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in HR or similar field, and a minimum of 10 years' experience working in HR, predominantly in the areas critical for the position. You also have experience from working in a global business environment - preferably within large international organizations. You are used to work in and establish results in a matrix organization. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are a prerequisite for the role. Leadership experience is a merit as well as experience from functions other than HR.
As a person you are a strong team player, with a proven networking ability, capable of building interpersonal relationships and managing workforce diversity. You have a proven ability to deliver and are willing to contribute to the overall performance of the Sandvik HR team. To be successful in the role strong intercultural, communication and facilitation skills are critical. As a Sandvik Leader, you are expected to drive ONE Sandvik, deliver results, drive improvements, develop your people and demonstrate self-awareness.
